Brandon Borror-Chappell
Marshfield, MA  |  University of Virginia '13

Brandon Borror-Chappell is thrilled to be spending his first summer in the group. He is from Marshfield, MA, so this will not be his first experience on the Cape, but he is nonetheless quite certain he doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. He sings primarily Tenor 1.

Brandon began singing when he joined his 8th grade chorus, and continued to develop his singing in the Marshfield High School "Marshalairs," in addition to performing in various district and state level choral ensembles. Shortly after arriving at the University of Virginia last year, Brandon joined Joe Whitney in the Hullabahoos, an all male a cappella group. As long as things go according to plan, he will graduate from UVA in May of 2013 with a degree in English/Modern Studies.

Brandon heard about Hyannis Sound from the older Hullabahoos, and the possibility of infiltrating another a cappella group was an opportunity he could not let slip through his fingers.

Brandon would like to sincerely thank all of the people, friends and family alike, who encouraged and helped him reach this point. As someone who plans and makes decisions poorly, he is extremely grateful to be surrounded by enough competent people to help him not merely realize his goals, but to realize what those goals are in the first place. He will be celebrating his 21st birthday on August 18.
