Jim Hogan

Jim Hogan is a 20-year-old Tenor 1 from just outside of Philadelphia, PA. This marks Jim's first summer both being on the Cape and singing with the Sound.

His a cappella background started in 2008 with the co-founding of two groups: Nameless9 (all male) and 88Shy (mixed). Jim is currently a member of Penn State University's co-ed group, Shades of Blue, and arranged many of their songs for the past year.

A cappella is not Jim's only musical outlet. Jim spent this last academic year on a leave of absence from Penn State while performing as Georg in the 2010-2011 National Tour of the Broadway Musical Spring Awakening. In the Fall, he will return to PSU as a sophomore studying Musical Theatre, and hopes to graduate by 2014.

Jim heard about the Hyannis Sound from various YouTube performances his friends shared with him. Thanks PrincessErin7420! If it weren't for you he would have never auditioned.
