Friday Night And The End of Week 1

Wow, its amazing to think that in a flash, week one of the Summer could be coming to a close...but its not over yet.  Tonight we have our first show at the Federated church of Hyannis, and we couldn't be more excited.  Not only is this our first home gig, but we also have the premier of a few new songs not yet heard this summer! Whats not to love about that?  So if you happen to find yourself on Main Street in Hyannis tonight around 8 o'clock why not stop in and catch a show and help us bring in the weekend with a bang!

So I thought I had lost the picture that I took of the wonderful crowd we had last night at the first Falmouth show...BUT I was looking through my pictures a minute ago and there it was! Thanks again to our Falmouth fans for an incredible opening night and we can't wait to see what Chatham has in store for us tonight!

whew! First Show Down!

Well our first show in Falmouth went off with out a hitch...well not a major one at least.  We would like to extend a huge thanks to the Falmouth crowd who couldn't have made our first show any better!  Oh and if you're wondering why you Falmouth lot can't see yourselves in the picture Kevin took, that would be because he deleted it mid show... I suppose we can't all be technologically gifted huh?  And with that we start summer up again, hope to see you all again soon!

Kicking Off The Season!

It's finally time to put the thoughts of Winter behind us and dive head first into Summer!  Tonight Hyannis Sound begins their weekly schedule which will continue through the rest of the Summer season with a boat-load of new songs that are sure to please.  So Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, dust the sand off those flip flops and come see the boys of summer sing their hearts out tonight in Falmouth!

Please Welcome Colin Egan to the Hyannis Sound

After a long, rain-drenched weekend of auditions in Boston, Hyannis Sound is proud to welcome its newest member, Colin Egan!

Born and raised in Chapel Hill, NC, Colin blew us away with his solo ability and genuine excitement for all things music. The 70+ talented guys that auditioned made it difficult on us, but in the end we knew Colin would be a perfect fit to round out the Summer 2010 lineup.

Colin has just finished up his junior year at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He's the music director of his co-ed group, Dooley Noted, and we're more than excited to add such a great musician to the group. Aside from being an awesome soloist, arranger, and bass, he also finds time to be a contributing member of Emory's varsity tennis team. Colin is an awesome guy who's going to fit right in this summer; we can't wait to introduce him in the fast-approaching summer months. Please check out our schedule to get your fist opportunity to meet Colin!

A special thanks to the BU Dear Abbey’s for hosting our auditions and to the rest of the guys who tried out. We look forward to seeing you all again next Spring!
