Peter Carboni
Wareham, MA  |  University of Massachusetts Amherst '17

Peter is thrilled to experience his first summer as a member of the Hyannis Sound! As a long time fan, he’s honored to be a part of Hyannis Sound. As the group's Public Relations manager, he can’t wait to spread the word about the group to all of the warm and welcoming communities across Cape Cod.

Peter grew up in Wareham, Massachusetts and began singing in high school. He was a part of his high school’s a cappella group, church choir, campus band, and even started his own Youtube Channel!

Peter graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s in Psychology and a certificate in Sustainable Food and Farming. In college, he was the social media and production manager of UMass’s oldest and only all-male a cappella group, the Doo Wop Shop. When he’s not singing (which isn’t too often), Peter enjoys cooking, working out, spending time outdoors, and digging for rare vintage finds from local thrift stores.

After this summer comes to a close, Peter plans to continue his career as a professional singer, while looking into graduate school options for his Masters in Therapeutic Horticulture.

Peter would like to extend an enormous amount of gratitude to his friends and family for their unwavering support. He has greatly benefited from their warmth and encouragement, and he’s beyond grateful to have such a loving network of people that only want the best for him.
