What are you up to now?:
I am currently eating school lunch for a living, I mean, teaching high school social studies in Lakeville, MA. I've been in the classroom for three years now and I have loved every minute of it! I'm living in New Bedford, MA. It's not so scary (in the part where I live). I'm also about to finish up my Masters degree in teaching at Bridgewater State College.

Has HS affected the general trajectory of your life? If so, how?:
Considering the fact that (a) my undergrad GPA improved ten fold after my first summer in The Sound, (2) I was introduced to my current school system by doing a gig there, (C) the people who helped me land a spot in this community were all friends I met through Hyannis Sound, (4) I wear Vineyard Vines to work, I'd have to say no, HS has had no impact on the trajectory of my life :-) Also, SO many people I know and love today were brought into my life through this group. Very blessed!

Tell us about your favorite on-stage moment...:
Wow, there were so many! I'd have to go with this one time when Andy did a talkabout where he yodeled. He only did it once, and even though we begged him to repeat it at other shows, he refused. That was a special night for the group.

What is your favorite HS transportation moment?:
Without a doubt, it was the wedding we did in the Berkshires in 2005. It was Falmouth Road Race weekend, so it took us 2+ hours to get off the Cape, and thus, we were running over two hours behind. We screamed (under speed limit, of course) down the Pike to basically the New York line, only to arrive at the venue where the reception was being held, not the service. After another 10 minutes, we arrived at the service, where a young lad told us to drive slowly down the dirt road to the manor. Being over two hours late, we didn't drive slowly, until we hit a clearing where we could see that we were sending a dust cloud towards a beautiful outdoor wedding. Once we arrived at the door, we got a brief and courteous greeting from the wedding planner, then we were marched out to the ceremony just in time to sing our song (albeit the ceremony itself was delayed for us). Shortly after singing, while vows were taking place, a wall of rain moved across the field and onto the ceremony. It had to be finished on the porch. We were wet and Joey is hairy and wasn't wearing an undershirt. We constantly reminded the wedding party that rain on your wedding day is good luck.

What was your craziest HS tour adventure?:
Florida, 2006. Just Sayin'.

What is your favorite HS recording?:
As a member, I'm pretty proud of On The Clock. We put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into that album. I also had to make a big decision and let Micah take my solo spot on the album so that we could feature a lesser-known singer. As a fan boy, I grew up on On The Beach and 110. Still listen to them on a regular basis, still get giddy, and still hope I get into the group someday, wait...
