What are you up to now?:
A Vermont native in New York City, I am a lucky husband to Shoshana and a proud father of Tess (born 10/15/05) and Devi (born 12/21/08). I make a living producing events, digital and print media while managing many talented artists. I enjoy music, running, design, photography, wine, travel and surrounding myself with passionate people - many of whom were once in the Hyannis Sound.

Has HS affected the general trajectory of your life? If so, how?:
The Hyannis Sound continues to affect me in the most profound way. I was humbled to have ten brave guys accept the challenge back in the Spring of 1994 and, together, we not only survived but succeeded. Here we are - years later - and the foundation we established still holds.

I participate by training the Business Manager every summer and I find that hanging with the current group keeps me young and inspired. That, and making memories over orientation, reunion and final show weekends. The music is great, the fans are amazing, the Cape is bliss - and the guys are the best.

But what continues to amaze me (aside from time flying by) is how this group continues to take it to another level, year after year. From incorporating the group as a not-for-profit, to gaining enough attention to drop the seasonal "day jobs," to the pride that comes with watching a different, entertaining show one night to the next. And everyone deserves credit for that. I can only hope we can keep it going forever.

Tell us about your favorite on-stage moment...:
I have dozens of favorite on-stage moments and I hope to have dozens more. Largay's "see?", Rob Stewart's knee-slides, Dylan's flippers, Goatherd, Altimari's Chipper and Moose, Billy's "World On Fire," Samrat's "Nancies," Manley's space expander, Thriller, PT's seagull-turned-seal, nearly every one of Mr. Power's talkabout, 10th Year Reunion, 15th Year Reunion - and any time I have the privilege to direct "Shenandoah."

What is your favorite HS transportation moment?:
Two of my favorite moments happened on the same trip. While traversing the wild New Hampshire mountains, a close friend of ours was pulled over three times in three different towns with one headlamp out. In between pull-overs 2 and 3, we encountered a moose and it was a spectacle watching this caravan of cars try to get around this 300 lb beast with a sense of humor. Ask Nate Altimari about it sometime - he tells the story best.

My worst favorite moment happened on our Spring Tour of 1996. After finishing a benefit show at a hospital (again, in New Hampshire - coincidence?), I had parked near a different hospital entrance than everyone else.  I pulled up the entrance to run in and get the guys and mistakenly left the keys in the car. No more than three minutes later, I came out to find my car had been stolen. It turns out someone from the psychiatric ward had been watching from a window and jumped at the chance of an escape pod. My car was loaded with the prized possessions of three of us.  I was heart-broken but thankfully in the best company to keep me distracted. Miraculously, a month later my car showed up in a tow lot with everything still inside.
